There’s a lot happening in fashion right now. There are celebrities trying to design their clothes who are basically criticised by the professional designers. One of them is Lindsay Lohan who is being criticised by Emanuel Ungaro. The designer who had sold his fashion empire to the investors was reportedly fuming when he found out that Lindsay Lohan was chosen to design a collection for fashion house Ungaro.
Lindsay Lohan and Ungaro
I read that a famous fashion store Net-a-Porter dropped Ungaro after Lindsay Lohan’s collaboration with Estrella Arch, the Ungaro designer. Probably due to the wide range of buttock-revealing dresses and nipple stickers (so belowed by Lady Gaga for example). The rumour has it, however, that these ones weren’t actually designed by Lohan.
Besides, there were also a lot of satisfied customers who considered Lohan and Arch’s collaboration successful. It was for example Stephanie Solomon, a fashion director of Bloomingdale’s. The praised Lohan as an Ungaro artistic adviser for creating a collection basically dedicated to women her age – the dresses were short, revealing and had fresh, bright colours. Okay so if she wasn’t that bad then why isn’t she any longer working for Ungaro, huh?
